Google Zeitgeist

London agency Brandfuel invited Darkroom to create a projection mapped backdrop for this special event. We created a 4K resolution woodland clearing scene mapped onto extruded tree shapes, complete with swaying wild flowers, rustling leaves and tiny insects. The scene was extended into the room using fabricated trees and creative lighting. We asked illustrator Jane Laurie to collaborate with us on the second part of the show in which the scene transformed into vibrant, inky colours. Performances on the night were by Lindsey Stirling and Jessie J.
